General Information

He Higher Technician Degree in Oral Hygiene te capacita para promover la salud bucodental de las personas y de la comunidad, mediante el desarrollo de actividades preventivas y técnico-asistenciales. Estas actividades incluyen la exploración, evaluación, promoción y realización de técnicas odontológicas en colaboración con el odontólogo o médico estomatólogo. Como miembro de un equipo de salud bucodental, realizarás tu actividad profesional con criterios de calidad, seguridad y optimización de recursos.

General Competencies

Al finalizar este ciclo formativo, estarás capacitado para:

  • Gestionar el área de trabajo en un gabinete bucodental, programando actividades y asegurando el funcionamiento operativo de la unidad.

  • Explorar y detectar el estado de salud bucodental de los pacientes, registrando los datos obtenidos y realizando su evaluación.

  • Prevenir enfermedades bucodentales mediante la intervención directa, aplicando técnicas preventivas y asistenciales según protocolos establecidos.

  • Evaluar la salud bucodental de las personas y de la comunidad, mediante actividades de vigilancia epidemiológica.

  • Fomentar la salud bucodental a través de actividades de educación sanitaria y promoción de la salud.

  • Realizar técnicas odontológicas delegadas o de ayuda dentro del equipo de salud bucodental.

 

Qualification

At the end of the cycle, students obtain the official degree of Higher Technician in Oral Hygiene, nationally recognized and valid for working in dental centers and clinics, both in the public and private sectors.

Duration: 2.000 horas distribuidas en dos cursos académicos, incluyendo la Formación en Centros de Trabajo (FCT). Mode: In person and online (subject to availability). Schedules: Morning and afternoon shifts.
